SHUBENACADIE, N.S. – Jordan Szoke kept his bid for an unprecedented eighth Canadian Superbike Championship by Parts Canada title alive at the fifth round of the seven-race series at Atlantic Motorsport Park last Sunday.

The Brantford, Ont. racer picked up his fourth straight runner-up finish and fifth podium result of the year on the Competition Systems Kawasaki Race Team Kawasaki ZX-10R Ninja.

CSBK RD5: McCORMICK TAKES FIFTH STRAIGHT WIN

SHUBENACADIE, N.S. (August 7) – Brett McCormick edged a step closer to his first Canadian Superbike Championship by Parts Canada national title by taking his fifth win of the season at Atlantic Motorsport Park on Sunday.

The Saskatoon rider led all 22 laps of the 2.56km AMP circuit on his radX / BMW Motorrad Canada BMW S1000RR, finishing the race in 25 minutes, 8.591 seconds for an average speed of 134.398 km/h.

Five-time defending series champion Jordan Szoke of Brantford, Ont. placed second aboard the Competition Systems Kawasaki Race Team Kawasaki ZX-10R, 5.829 secs. behind McCormick, and Jodi Christie of Keene, Ont. completed the podium riding the Jodi Christie Racing / Cameron Cycle / Blue Streak Racing Honda CBR600RR.

SHUBENACADIE, N.S. (August 6) – Jordan Szoke will start from pole position in the fifth round of the Canadian Superbike Championship by Parts Canada at Atlantic Motorsport Park on Sunday.

The rider of the Competition Systems Kawasaki Race Team Kawasaki ZX-10R claimed his second straight Kawasaki S4-R Competition Lubricants Pole Award of the season by turning a lap at one minute, 7.359 seconds (136.819km/h) around the 2.56km (1.6-mile) AMP track in the Pirelli SuperPole qualifying session on Saturday afternoon.

The performance was worth $500 and four points toward the Canadian Superbike Championship.

SHUBENACADIE, N.S. (August 5) – Canadian Superbike Championship by Parts Canada points leader Brett McCormick carried his momentum into this weekend’s fifth round at Atlantic Motorsport Park in Shubenacadie, N.S. on Friday.

The 19-year-old from Saskatoon took his radX / BMW Motorrad Canada BMW S1000RR to the fastest time in practice for Sunday’s race with a time of one minute, 7.067 seconds around the 2.56 km (1.6-mile) circuit for an average speed of 137.415 km/h (85.884 mph).

Mosport CSBK To Feature Masters of Mosport Reunion

3rd Annual Motorcycle Road Racers Reunion at the CSBK Doubleheader features Masters Of Mosport.

(Toronto) The 3rd annual Motorcycle Road Racers Reunion will be held on Saturday August 20th 2011 in conjunction with the CSBK Doubleheader Weekend at Mosport International Raceway.

Eleven prominent racers will be featured as the “Masters Of Mosport” and participate in parade laps during the lunch hour on Saturday August 20th. The Masters Of Mosport riders will also take part in a autograph session where fans will be able to get a signed copy of a special full colour poster that is being produced for the event.

Szoke Remains Second in the Canadian Superbike Championship

Brantford ON Canada – July 12th 2011 – 5 time defending Canadian Superbike champion Jordan Szoke had to settle for a disappointing runner up finish this weekend in the Canadian Superbike Championship held at the Autodrome in St Eustache Quebec. The “Autodrome” was resurrected to the CSBK schedule from a hiatus since 2003 with a freshly paved 1.77 km road course.
